Ambiance Boutiques Delivers Fashion and Funds
March 11, 2020, San Luis Obispo County, CA – Since 2016, Ambiance Boutiques in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles have supported Big Brothers Big Sisters youth mentoring programs with their popular “Sip & Shop’ events. The last Ambiance ‘Sip & Shop’ event raised $2,942.22, bringing their four year total donations to $8,200. These funds directly support local mentor relationships that bolster resilience, build self-confidence, and serve as protective influences that assist youth in learning to cope with and overcome the challenges they face, and help them make positive choices.
Ambiance Boutiques owner Kannyn January states; “At Ambiance we love helping women find confidence in their clothing—but we also find joy in giving back to the community that supports us. Partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters gives us the opportunity to help create promising futures for kids in SLO County. We believe that everyone needs a mentor to look up to, and Big Brothers Big Sisters does an amazing job at creating those bonds. We’re happy to partner with such a wonderful organization in our community!”
