Pacific Western Bank Awards $25,000 for Youth Mentoring Programs
San Luis Obispo, CA – Pacific Western Bank has awarded Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County a grant supporting the agency’s proven youth mentoring programs. This $25,000 grant brings their 14-year gift total to more than $121,000 to help empower potential, decrease risky behaviors, and increase educational 0utcomes for hundreds local children.
Tom Strait, Central Coast Region President of Pacific Western Bank said, “Pacific Western Bank has been supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2008. The bank believes in the values and programs they provide for the overall benefit of the kids and our communities”.
Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Patty Carpenter says, “Pacific Western Bank has supported Big Brothers Big Sisters for 14 years and has been the Presenting Sponsor of the ‘BIG EVENT’ fundraiser for 10 years. We are thrilled to have their unwavering support as they improve the lives of countless children across our county.”
